We would like to thank all those who have sent messages of condolences, they are very much appreciated and helped to make a difficult time a litter easier to cope with.  Below are some of them. Also thanks to 'Felix's' breeders Vic and Lyn Salt (Woodlyn) who entrusted him to us and thought as highly of him as we do.  Thank you.

Jean and Paul

Some of the lovely Tributes...

Such a wonderful representative of the breed. I recall meeting him for the first time in 2000 and thinking "WOW what an absolutely stunning Belgian!" Farewell dear, sweet, gentle Felix a MAGNIFICENT boy both inside and out... You will be missed, but you will never be forgotten and always remembered with wonderful happy memories to bring a smile... Sending our heartfelt condolences to you Jean, Paul, Kelly & Stephen ..............Craig & Julie Fynmore (Beljekali, Aust)

Paul and Jean, Sorry to hear of the sad loss of your boy, he was a great dog and it was my pleasure to have been able to judge him and award him BOB at Crufts, thinking of you.....Jeff Luscott (Jalus, UK)

Hi Jean and Paul,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your cherished boy. He was a great ambassador for the breed and showed that the " Black Ones " could more than hold their own against what many considered  to be  the " flashier " Tervueren at the time all varieties were shown together. Some Groenendael breeders at that time either gave up or would not show their dogs but Felix showed time and again that colour made no difference to a beautiful dog. He was a once in a life time dog and I know Vic and Lyn considered him to be the best they had ever bred and I am sure they are also feeling very sad at his passing. I am sure you have many wonderful memories of your time with him which will, as the sadness fades, make you smile when you think of  them..  Take care.........Lynda McNamara (Kehala, UK)

Sorry to hear your news, he was the first dog that I awarded a CC to, in the bad old days when we were all in the ring together.  He was a super show dog with a big ring presence.  Our thoughts are with you at this time........Debbie Fleming and the Ailort team  (UK)

I remember seeing him in the show ring when we first started out he was so glamorous and so handsome:-)...........Valerie Oatley (Je t'aime Groenendaels, UK)

So sorry Jean & Paul, he was a lovely boy..........Babs Robinson (Xanova, UK)

So so sorry he was one of the greats.........Linda Collins (Domburg, UK)

So sorry. We were just talking about him the other night when Kelly was up. Thoughts are with you......Josh Henderson (Tuwos Dobermanns, Ire)

I am so sorry, what a great dog he was.  I have a video of him and Guy at Working & Pastoral Breeds Scottish Show, I think it would be the year 2,000.  Judge Joe Kirk.  Thinking of you both x.........Christine Isherwood (Chrisvale)

Hi,  I just wanted to add my condolences, I have a puppy from Felix (Kimbesha Queen of Diamonds) she is a truly beautiful and wonderful girl and I'm sure much of that has to do with her good-looking father. I saw him in the show-ring once or twice and he was a real star. So sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts are with you all.....Isla Irvine (UK)

Jean, Paul and family, Thinking of you all at this sad time.  Felix was a fantastic dog, always remember the good times. He will never leave your heart......Jan and the Bonvivant Belgians (UK)

I was so so sorry to hear you'd lost Felix. He was not only  beautiful but also such a kind dog. Please accept our deepest sympathies on your loss. ....Marcelle King (Belamba, UK)

I am so sorry to hear the sad news, God bless him, he was one in a million alright, take care and again I am truly sorry for your loss.
Sinead Taggart (Cooley Dobermanns & Westies, Ire

Colin and I are so sad to hear of the loss of Felix. Even though he lived to a good age, it's no comfort, and there are no words we can say to help you both through this sad time. Only to say that we all know exactly what you are feeling right now. He was a very distinguished, well-known and well loved dog; and in his heyday was a great ambassador for our breed.   Thinking of you both......Jan & Colin Munro (Groenveld, UK) x

So sorry to hear this Jean and Paul, he was a beautiful boy RIP Felix :(........Sinead Kenney (Clanreh Min Pins, Ire)

What a beautiful dog! I'm sorry for your loss...............Eeva-Leena Eve Juntunen (Finland)
