We would like to thank all those who have sent messages of condolences, they are very much appreciated and helped to make a difficult time a litter easier to cope with. Below are some of them. Also thanks to 'Felix's' breeders Vic and Lyn Salt (Woodlyn) who entrusted him to us and thought as highly of him as we do. Thank you.
Some of the lovely Tributes...
Such a wonderful representative of the breed. I recall meeting him for the first time in 2000 and thinking "WOW what an absolutely stunning Belgian!" Farewell dear, sweet, gentle Felix a MAGNIFICENT boy both inside and out... You will be missed, but you will never be forgotten and always remembered with wonderful happy memories to bring a smile... Sending our heartfelt condolences to you Jean, Paul, Kelly & Stephen ..............Craig & Julie Fynmore (Beljekali, Aust)
Sorry to hear your news, he was the first dog that I awarded a CC to, in the bad old days when we were all in the ring together. He was a super show dog with a big ring presence. Our thoughts are with you at this time........Debbie Fleming and the Ailort team (UK)
I am so sorry, what a great dog he was. I have a video of him and Guy at Working & Pastoral Breeds Scottish Show, I think it would be the year 2,000. Judge Joe Kirk. Thinking of you both x.........Christine Isherwood (Chrisvale)
Hi, I just wanted to add my condolences, I have a puppy from Felix (Kimbesha Queen of Diamonds) she is a truly beautiful and wonderful girl and I'm sure much of that has to do with her good-looking father. I saw him in the show-ring once or twice and he was a real star. So sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts are with you all.....Isla Irvine (UK)
Jean, Paul and family, Thinking of you all at this sad time. Felix was a fantastic dog, always remember the good times. He will never leave your heart......Jan and the Bonvivant Belgians (UK)
I was so so sorry to hear you'd lost Felix. He was not only beautiful but also such a kind dog. Please accept our deepest sympathies on your loss. ....Marcelle King (Belamba, UK)
Colin and I are so sad to hear of the loss of Felix. Even though he lived to a good age, it's no comfort, and there are no words we can say to help you both through this sad time. Only to say that we all know exactly what you are feeling right now. He was a very distinguished, well-known and well loved dog; and in his heyday was a great ambassador for our breed. Thinking of you both......Jan & Colin Munro (Groenveld, UK) x
