FANTASTIC RESULTS AT LKA (UK) CH SHOW

CH, NED, LUX CH Diego Du Pre Du Vieux Pont at Revloch (An Ch '06,'07,'08) (CW'06,'07) won his third CC and BOB (56 Entries) and is now GB CHAMPION (subject to confirmation).  Thanks to Josh Henderson who handled him on the day.

His daughters Revloch X Factor  and Revloch Exquisite of Fivannte won 1st and 2nd in Junior bitch

 At his first Championship Show at only  7 months in the A.V. Pastoral NSC Classes  (44 Entries) "Ruairi"Revloch Yabba Dabba Doo won 1st Puppy Dog, Reserve Best Dog and Best Puppy

At the Irish Junior Handling Final held on Sunday 6th December,  Shauna Lawless (Paul's niece) handled "Voodoo" (IR, GB, NED CH Xanova Magique Noir avec Revloch) and they were shortlisted down to the final 6 out of 19 entries.   Well done Shauna and Voodoo!!

IR & FIN CH Curiosity All In One  "Paavo"  won 4 x Best of Breeds, a Group 4 AND also won the Champion Stakes at Tralee, and is now qualified for the Champion of Champions Final 2009

CH Romwal Maid in Wales Jun Ch  won 4 x Green Stars and Res Best of Breeds handled by Susanna Gourine from Finland AND 3rd in the Champion Stakes at Clonmel and Runner-Up in the Champion Stakes at Killarney

A Bitter Sweet Weekend for Us....

Bitter.....It is always hard to lose an elderly dog that has given many years of pleasure and devotion but to lose one that is young is equally heartbreaking and we were devastated to learn of the tragic passing of one of our last litter on 15th May.   "Mira" (Revloch Xpose) failed to recover following a routine operation at only six months old.   Our deepest sympathy to her devastated owners Ines and Jim Casey who are lost without her.  We remember "Mira", the smallest of the five girls, who was the one first out of the box as soon as she could walk and the one who loved to explore everything.

Sweet....The following day three of "Mira's" litter mates made their debuts in the show ring at six months of age.   Congratulations to Theresa Gilbert who won Best Puppy in Breed at Scottish Kennel Club in the UK with Revloch Xplicit and the Donaldson family who won 3rd in Puppy Bitch with Revloch Xquisite while our own Revloch X Factor  won 1st in Puppy Bitch (VP) at Hibernian Ch Show.

At Birmingham National Dog Show in the UK on 10th May, 2009 "Paavo" IR & FIN CH Curiosity All In One  won 1st in the YKC Toy Stakes and is now qualified for the Final at Crufts 2010.

At South Tipp Ch Show on 2nd May, 2009 "Paavo" IR & FIN CH Curiosity All In One  once again won GROUP 1 and finished BEST IN SHOW 5 while IR CH Revloch Ready Teddy Go To Whitandon An CH'05,'07, '08, CW'06,'08,'09 won GROUP 3

On the same day in the UK at Angelsey Canine Society Open Show "Kizzy" Romwal Maid in Wales Jun Ch  won BOB Australian Silky Terrier, TOY GROUP 1 and BEST IN SHOW while "Khayla" Romwal Miss Starlight won Best Puppy and TOY PUPPY GROUP 4 handled by breeder Romayne Freer and Dion Hughes and Ch Vanistica Who's Who at Revloch won another AVNSC Open

The following day, 3rd May, 2009, at Fermoy International Show, "Paavo" won GROUP 2 and also the International Title (subject to FCI confirmation) while "Molly" Fin & Nor Ch Curiosity Fine Valentine gained the Irish Champion Title (subject to IKC confirmation)

and in the UK at the Merseyside Toy Dog Open Show "Khayla" won A.V. TOY PUPPY

CORK & DISTRICT CH SHOW

Today on a beautiful sunny afternoon at the first outdoor show of the year IR & FIN CH Curiosity All In One  won Green Star, BOB and GROUP 1.  Judge was Mr Philip O'Brien of the world renowned "Edbrios" Kerry Blues and Irish Terriers.

At Working and Pastoral Breeds of Wales Dion Hughes and Vanistica Who's Who at Revloch won Res Best Dog and also 4th in the Young Kennel Club Handling.  Well done Team Hugion!

In the UK we are delighted to hear that Revloch Weather Girl At Fivannte JW has gained the title ShCM (Show Champion of Merit).  Congratulations to the Donaldson family.

Romwal Maid in Wales Jun Ch 

On Sunday 12th April, we competed in the Prestigous Pup of the Year Competition with 'Kizzy' (Romwal Maid in Wales Jnr Ch). "Kizzy" had qualified for the Final by winning a Puppy Stakes in June last year. Her breeder and co-owner Romayne Freer and her husband Wally and granddaughter Laren had also travelled over from the UK to see us compete.

There were 30 puppies qualified for the final with only one dog absent on the night.

The first round was judged by 3 judges, Mr Ger Cox (Ire), Mr John Muldoon (Ire) and Mr. Boris Charpiro (Russia) who each judged all the finalists. However there were three more Judges present in the ring who were also allowed to watch the dogs as one of them would later be chosen to judge the final 8 dogs.

I was absolutely thrilled when Kizzy was called back into the final 8 along with a Japanese Shiba Inu, Pomeranian, Miniature Poodle, Bichon Frise, Cocker Spaniel, Old English Sheepdog and Miniature Schnauzer to a huge cheer.

It was announced that Mr Alberto Cuccillato from Italy would then judge the final 8 dogs.

The 8 dogs were called in judged individually and then they were brought back into the ring together while the judge made his final decisions. The results were announced in reverse order:

8th: Japanese Shiba Inu
7th: Cocker Spaniel
6th: Bichon Frise
5th: Old English Sheepdog
4th: Miniature Poodle
3rd: Pomeranian

Then it was between "Kizzy" and the Miniature Schnauzer, I couldn't believe we had got this far! After we did final lap which "Kizzy" did perfectly, the judge pointed to the Miniature Schnauzer for 1st Place and Runner-Up to "Kizzy". This is the highest placing a Silky Terrier has won in this competition and I was so proud of her, she performed so well.

Congratulations to Cathy Neill on her win with "Sullivan" the Miniature Schnauzer. We had some lovely comments from lots of people who had tipped Kizzy to win.

A big thank you to Romayne for letting such a super silky come to Ireland....Kelly

We delighted and proud to hear that at a recent International Show in Tallinan, Estonia our Australian Silky Terrier IR, SWE & INT CH CURIOSITY FLIRT AND PLAY AT REVLOCH AN CH '07, '08; CJW'07; CW'07 won CAC, CACIB and her Estonian Champion title. "Kiwi" is presently on holiday in Finland with her breeders and this win follows her BOB and Swedish Ch title at the Stockholm International Show last December
